Good evening and blessings. Most people in the world dedicate the majority of their time to building things that belong mainly to the physical side of life, career, home, comfort, pleasure. That's the nature of the world. A person lives in this world, feels the body more strongly, feels the material, the tangible reality he sees around him. And so naturally most of his time is invested in physical matters. invested in physical matters. There are only a few people who truly invest in their spiritual growth, in shaping their character, in good deeds, in inner elevation, and who see this as the essence of life. Of course, life in this world requires making a living. You need a home. You need transportation. You need to exist. But the center of life should revolve around the spiritual construction of the human being. Rashi writes in the book of Ecclesiastes that the world is called Olam Olam because it comes from the word He'elem, concealment. There is a verse that says, "He has also placed the world in their hearts." Normally, the word Olam is written with the letter Vav, but King Solomon wrote it without the Vav. The Bible is written without vowels, so it can also be read as He'elem, concealment. He placed concealment in their hearts because the physical world conceals. because the physical world conceals. It hides the spiritual dimension that exists within it. In truth, everything physical in the world was meant to serve as a tool so that a person can build his spiritual world. Let us reflect on a few pieces of advice on how we can bring more spirituality into our lives, more inner growth, without harming the physical side in any way. But to consciously invest in spiritual development is something that gives quality of life in this world and also earns a person eternal life in the world to come.
