we're on page 39 there's an enormous amount of commentary on the 10 plagues I'm going to skip it because it's available to everyone I'm just going to mention an idea which is not widely known the plagues can be divided into two groups 1 79 and 10 blood hail darkness and plague of the firstborn is one category and the rest is category two and the difference between them is this the first ones blood hail Darkness plague the first born are utterly anti-natural nothing res resembling them occurs in the natural world at all Rivers do not turn to blood and hailstones with Sparks of fire enclosed in each one does not do not fall from Heaven and continuous darkness which is so palpable that you can't move from where you are sitting also does not Cur in the natural world and there is no disease known to Medical Science that strikes only firstborn people so these are utterly anti-natural events all the rest are natural processes managed in a miraculous fashion don't get stuck in the first two words and forget the last I say they're natural processes that doesn't mean they're not Miracles they definitely are Miracles but the miracle is that a natural process behaves in an unnatural way so uh the frogs come when Moses says so their infestation is is greater more intense than uh at any other time in history and it disappears exactly when Moses says should disappear that's not natural but the frogs come from the Nile which it's where frogs read all the time so it's a natural process managed in a supernatural fashion that's true for all
