And so, I think it's very important to And so, I think it's very important to understand the intention and the design of the Gemara, and then we can develop a skillset that will enable us to unpack it in a way that's going to be coordinated and coherent with what the Gemara seems to be wanting to do. But the problem is that the oral Torah, in its pure, pristine state, was under the threat of extinction because of the because of the because of the the kind of the the diversity of um struggles and the pain of exile that would befall the Jewish people. They understood that having a purely oral tradition would very easily get lost. So, we had to find some way of maintaining it, yet not defeating the purpose of the nature of our law, which is this vibrant, alive, dynamic engagement in the reality of our current um position in life and geography is history and everything.
