Rabbi. Surely you are well, as you should be, thank God, young man. You are young, you. This lesson is for the recovery of: Rabbi Yosef ben Yehia, Efrat Chaya bat Genia, Meira bat Malka, for the recovery of Shlomir ben Aliza, for the recovery of Devorah Shindel bat Tika; and, to distinguish, for the souls of: Rabbi Elazar Zar ben Shalom and Simcha, Uriel ben Osnat, Israel and Rav David, Ramdchi ben Brund, Raphael ben Avraham. That's it. This Shabbat, God willing, we will read Parshat Vayera, the second portion that deals with the figure of our forefather Abraham. As everyone knows, we already mentioned last week that there are two portions that deal with Abraham our forefather, two that deal with Isaac our forefather, and six that deal with Jacob our forefather. This Shabbat we are in the second Shabbat dealing with Abraham our forefather, Parshat Vayera, and it essentially serves as the continuation of last week's portion, where the Torah concluded with the commandment of circumcision. One of the trials that Abraham our forefather endured, and this Shabbat the Torah deals with the visit to the sick that the Holy One, blessed be He, paid to Abraham: "And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of the tent in the heat of the day
