0:00 Tzaddikim, I want to explain something to you, all right? You come to me and ask me what to do, all kinds of things. You need to listen to me. I am telling you, I know what I am saying. Listen to me. It is all fine; I understand very quickly everything you need. But you need to understand something: tefillah is the most important thing. And it is impossible not to hold on to tefillah and to expect some... Baruch Hashem, blessings are a great thing, but one also has to pray, so that the person also helps me.

0:26 For me - for my prayer to help - I also need the person's own prayer. I want people to pray. You know, King Shlomo... the Holy One, blessed be He, hid away the Book of Remedies and concealed it from the world; to this day no one knows what the Book of Remedies was. It came about through Chizkiyahu, but even if there had been no Chizkiyahu, the Holy One, blessed be He, would have concealed the book. Even though it was Chizkiyahu who hid it away - and the Holy One, blessed be He, has not revealed it to this day - it is because the Holy One, blessed be He, does not want people to occupy themselves with remedies; He wants them to pray to Him.

0:56 Pray to the Holy One, blessed be He. And so what did I do? I gave an explanation here, I made a prayer, for people to pray, for people to turn directly to the Holy One, blessed be He. I, the small one, am truly nothing. I bless, and your prayer - it is what will help. So, when you want the blessing to take effect... strengthen yourselves in tefillah. There is nothing greater than tefillah. "When what is exalted is held cheap among the sons of man" - it is a thing that stands at the height of the world; people treat it lightly.

1:23 People do not understand that one has to prepare a vessel. The Chasam Sofer says: if a person does not believe in the blessing of the one who blesses him, the blessing does not take effect. You cannot come to a tzaddik, to a sage, and you want to have salvations and miracles and everything... and you do not believe in him - then you have nothing to come for. This is one of the things of emunah, when one wants to receive a blessing from someone. Every person must also pray. One cannot hold on only to the blessing without praying.

1:48 Very important. I know that, baruch Hashem, you have heard of all kinds of miracles and wonders, right? And now, fine - this has to help me: also to listen to what I say. I tell people to pray. People say: one needs to take something more... to do something more. If I knew something to tell you, I would tell you to do something more. But I tell people to pray. Help me, with Hashem's help. May it be His will that you have salvations, Amen. Miracles and wonders, Amen. I serve Hashem so that you will have miracles.

2:19 And there is no need to tell me "the doctor said such-and-such", because that does not interest me. I saw what Hashem did, not what doctors did. With these eyes I saw, and you saw too: people here beside me saw things that doctors said that... Doctors send people to me. There are doctors who, in the hospital - the doctors say to a person: "Come." The doctor too says - the doctor... there are doctors... How there was one, an apikores, a doctor of 68 or so, who said that he began to believe in the Holy One, blessed be He, thanks to a miracle that he saw with his own eyes - the doctor... he saw miracles. And this miracle comes about from prayer.

2:57 But if one does not pray to Hashem, if one does not seek Hashem, there is nothing to expect. It does not work that a person lives his own life and his own mind, does whatever he wants in the world, and afterwards looks for a blessing to help him, and he stays as he is and expects that blessing to help. Take, even now, an amulet of King David and expect to win wars with it - it will not help, if one does not pray and serve Hashem and expect to build vessels and to be truthful with the Holy One, blessed be He.

3:26 And the blessing is a vessel. One has to take something on, in abundance, for it to take effect: to work on one's character traits, to learn Torah, to pray, to hold yourselves strong in emunah - nu, and then suddenly one sees a miracle. What is a miracle? What is a miracle? Where does it come from? A miracle comes when a person can do nothing. As long as it is in your power to do something... A certain Jew asked me, he said to me: What is the difference between chance and a miracle?

3:53 There is chance and there is a miracle; what is the difference between them? Well, this is chance... this, this is Hashem. Well, this - Hashem made some chance happen... How? You know how they say, "there is chance"... 'Chance' you can say about some small thing: that just then someone pulled out of a parking spot and you got a parking spot. Say that this you want to call chance. But when a growth that a person had disappears, and a person who was healed of things that there is no chance of coming out of, when the doctors say all sorts of things... - you cannot say it is chance.

4:25 It is that the Creator, the Creator, the King of kings of kings - He rules over our body. He rules over hearts. You see, the heart is a muscle, like this. This is the heart. Let everyone put a hand on the heart: a pump... there is a pump that pumps. It makes no difference - rich, poor, strong, mighty, weak. It makes no difference who the person is. It is this muscle. The One who lets this muscle work every moment - the heart of a king and of princes is in the hand of Hashem.

4:54 The Holy One, blessed be He, makes it, every moment, that the heart does... every moment. The moment He decides to stop - it is over, and the person dies of a heart attack, cardiac arrest. If He decides in another way, it goes in all kinds of ways. The Sanhedrin below has ceased, but the Sanhedrin above has not ceased. See the Tosafos on page 24: we see that to this day, to this very day of ours, where we stand today...

5:24 everything you see, all the stories you see, it is all with exact Hashgachah pratis. "The Rock - His work is perfect, for all His ways are justice; a faithful G-d, with no wrong; righteous and upright is He." No person suffers even in the smallest thing unless it is by the Hashgachah pratis of Hashem. And whatever the Holy One, blessed be He, does - and you see a person who is at ease, and he has a livelihood and he has this and that... do not look at that at all, because we do not know what Hashem, blessed be He, will do at his end: perhaps He will do this with him and perhaps He will do that with him. Each one has his own account.

5:55 And the Holy One, blessed be He, will collect from everyone who acts against His will. And every thing Hashem, blessed be He, will bring to judgment. Hashem, blessed be He, watches and knows everything the created beings do. One cannot fool Him, one cannot outwit Him, and one cannot try to take advantage of Him; it will not work. And one must be, with the Holy One, blessed be He, true and one. Whoever thinks about his purpose, about the way of Hashem and the Holy One, blessed be He, about the Torah, about the purpose - Hashem is with him.

6:21 Whoever thinks he came to this world for a wife, children, a livelihood, all the time, and to expect Hashem to give him some salvation, and he looks for something like that from Hashem - it does not work that way. I am explaining to you: we came to the world for Hashem, blessed be He, we came to the world for the Torah, we came to the world for the purpose, for the way of Hashem, in order to be truthful. One does not look only for a livelihood from the Holy One, blessed be He... and also not to ask me for lottery numbers and all kinds of stories like that, because I do not know what you want.

6:47 There are those who come and want lottery numbers, all kinds of nonsense. Really, I am explaining to you: We came to the world for the kingship of Hashem. We came to the world for the true purpose; we came to the world for the Beis HaMikdash, the Holy Temple. For that we came to the world. We did not come to the world for anything else. Whoever truly wants the salvation of Hashem: do Tikkun Chatzos, ask for the Beis HaMikdash. Take upon yourselves a commitment of Torah learning, strengthen yourselves in tefillah - "stand firm and see the salvation of Hashem."

7:13 You will truly see the salvation of Hashem - for I tell people to take upon themselves the simple things of tefillah: Tikkun Chatzos, to do Tikkun Chatzos, to ask for the Beis HaMikdash... at Tikkun Chatzos, when a person takes 5 minutes at midnight, sits and weeps and says Tikkun Chatzos - even if he cannot weep, let him make the sound of weeping - all the angels, the whole Heavenly retinue, all of them unite with him, all of them say: "Who is this person who does Tikkun Chatzos, who asks for the holy Shechinah?"

7:39 Be careful to do this. Know this: you will have miracles. There are people who are very far; they too should do Tikkun Chatzos. Ask for the Beis HaMikdash, ask for the House of Hashem. The month of Tammuz has come in; soon it is the 17th of Tammuz. On the 9th of Tammuz the first walls were breached. We rule - we go by the later one - that it is the 17th, since to this day the Beis HaMikdash has not been built; and for this we hold by the 17th... not also by the 9th. But we ask for the Beis HaMikdash in Bein HaMetzarim, Tisha B'Av.

8:08 Help me, with Hashem's help, so that we can do everything, and so that the Holy One, blessed be He, will have nachas ruach. Amen. One does not look only for blessings and things; one looks for the way of Hashem. Suddenly there are things that nature... by nature, a person says: "Wow!" So the Chacham Tzvi, in his responsa, writes in siman 18 that there is no such thing as nature. The Holy One, blessed be He, if He wills, can make the sun freeze now... now there will be ice.

8:33 Suddenly the sun will shine here - ice, everything... minus thirty, and snow will fall. And people cannot stand this heat. What is heat? It is the Holy One, blessed be He, who rules. He uses the sun in order to give light. He chooses; He says to the sun: "You, give light now; now make it hot." He decides. He uses the sun - but it is not that the sun now warms and gives light on its own. No.

9:01 The Holy One, blessed be He, uses the sun because now He wanted to give light. He uses the sun because He wants it to be hot. If He now wants there to be ice, He makes the sun shine and there will be ice, minus thirty - even though it is sixteen million degrees, 15,600,000 degrees Celsius. You know, sometimes the number 43 - 45 degrees - a person gets burned when he touches something: heat from which the hand recoils. 42-43 degrees, writes Rav Moshe Feinstein, that this is heat from which the hand recoils.

9:31 A person cannot touch it, cannot... Hot. For what is 'hot'... The sun - if it only moves a drop on its axis, the whole Earth turns into a coal, a coal of fire - if it moves from its axis for one moment, only moves from its axis for one moment. And the opposite: if it strays from its axis, the whole Earth will turn into a block of ice, a ball of ice, one ice cube.

9:56 Who does all this? Hashem, blessed be He. Each one goes after his own way, after his own Rav, this and that... Take a way of truth: to follow straight reason, and to seek the House of Hashem, and to seek the true purpose. And one can spend years and years here... and stay in the greatest falsehood, not once lifting one's eyes to Heaven. You - listen to me, with Hashem's help, and you will have salvation from Heaven. Amen.
