Yom Kippur a few hours away. The first question I'd like to deal with is Yom Kippur, what comes to our minds is obviously if we would play a word association game teshuvah. And we know the Rambam clearly tells us this is stored three. And what is repentance? What is teshuvah? How do we define it? That the sinner should abandon his sin, remove it from his thoughts, resolve in his heart never to do it again. As it is written, the evil one shall abandon his ways. The wicked one his thoughts. He should also regret the past as it's written, I've returned and regretted it. And he who knows the hidden will testify concerning him, he'll never return to this sin again. Question number one. And I think it's a question we all deal with. You know, we stand in a few hours on Yom Kippur. And we will be saying 10 al chets. Al chet she chatanu al chet she chatanu. And there will be this thought that I am sure will be through all of our minds. And it's very short phrase. Been there, done that. I was here last year and I committed that I will resolve that I feel bad for what I've done. And I will remove myself from the sin. And I will never do it again. And God will testify that I And guess what? A year has gone by and you know what? I did it over and over again.
