We are in the Parashat Bo where we finally leaving Mitzrayim and a very big and auspicious time. Uh where there was a very big build-up the last couple Parashot how we got to Mitzrayim, we become slaves, all the plagues, Moshe Rabbenu coming, miracles. This is one of the most highest moments of our history, leaving Mitzrayim. From there we're going to Har Sinai to get get the Torah. Up until today in almost in any occasion that we have, we uh commemorate the leaving of Mitzrayim. How many brachot we say every day, zecher yetziat Mitzrayim, to remember that we left Egypt, Shema Yisrael that we remember that we left Mitzrayim when we do Kiddush. You can kind of say, you know, look at everything that we do, everything we have this memory of going out of Mitzrayim. So, needless to say, this is a very auspicious and powerful moment of our history and this week is this what we uh reading about. But then comes this one little detail that is kind of throwing us off and making us look not so good as a nation that up until today we have this problem that as we leaving Mitzrayim we are conning the Egyptians for their money. And uh the Torah states very uh loud that we have to take their money and run. That doesn't make us look so good up until today. 3,500 years pass and if you want to kind of picture uh the what the world is looking at us as that we are money hungry. The Jews and the money and the money and the Jews and it's all about the money and the Jews own everything and they love money and that's what people think about us.
