I once said the heroes who were in the time of King David, when the Beis HaMikdash, the Holy Temple, stood, they were all heroes; they saw the Temple. They saw kohanim, they saw prophets. And today we are in such a hard generation, that we are far from the Temple that was.

1:00 But on the other hand, we are also the closest, because surely by now Hashem will want to redeem us. But you, who illuminate the light of Hashem in the world like this, and may you bring close, may you illuminate the light of Hashem, do zikuy harabim, reveal the knowledge of Hashem, blessed be He, in the world. Even the trees, every single leaf that sees him on the way, engraves and illuminates the light of Hashem, blessed be He, in the world. And this gives nachas ruach to Hashem, blessed be He, to increase the knowledge of the Holy One in the world, that everyone should know Hashem. It pains us about this exile, about the Beis HaMikdash that was destroyed. We must do everything we can to illuminate the light of Hashem, that everyone should have complete knowledge to serve Hashem, to draw close to Hashem, to lift the eyes to heaven, to know that Hashem, blessed be He, hears us, that He has not left us, that He does not leave us, that He will never leave us,

2:01 and to cling to Him, and be strong and brave and heroic, and not to be broken by anything in the world. And I said that if once there were heroes who were fighters with horses and spears and swords, today we need to be heroes who fight with hope, with victory, with joy. These will be our tools to defeat this darkness of the exile.

2:25 This exile is very dark. But if we illuminate the light and are joyful, and are full of hope, and illuminate the light of Hashem in the world, and illuminate the knowledge of Hashem, then we are fighting against all this sadness and against all this darkness. Give hope to each and every one, illuminate the light of Hashem in the whole world, turn the world to reveal the kingship of Hashem, blessed be He, in the whole world, that everyone should know that our Master, the Creator, blessed be He, the G-d of Avraham, the G-d of Yitzchak, and the G-d of Yaakov, the great, mighty and awesome G-d, living and enduring, reigns over us and will reign forever, as we say, "Hashem will reign forever, your G-d, Zion, from generation to generation, Halleluyah," and we say, "Hashem reigns, Hashem reigned, Hashem will reign forever and ever."
