Uh and we see that they had a little bit Uh and we see that they had a little bit of a tense uh relationship and I'm not going to spend much more time in this letter other than to point out that yet another facet here that Rav Pinas uh basically accused the Rambam. Why did you say publicly that I'm an Ore who is ignorant of Hala? And the Rambam more or less said, well, I didn't quite say that, although I almost said that. And the Rambam offered a very interesting observation. The Rambam said there was a difference Rambam said there was a difference between Jews who came from Mus Muslim countries as the Rambam versus Jews who came from Christian countries such as Rapinako who came from France. And he says the difference was the ability of the Jewish community to exercise judicial autonomy. And that is the Muslims basically recognized the Jewish people as a separate legal community and allowed them to have their own courts. Granted, there was a lot of persecution for sure,
