[Music] [Music] okay so uh what what they asked me to share with you today was something personal so I'll share with something you something personal uh perhaps a drop unconventional uh but I hope it'll be interesting for you I was not uh raised Orthodox to understate the case a thousandfold and when I first sort of stumbled into this community there were a number of things that I found which struck me as I don't think it's too strong a word bizarre which I think is normal I think anytime you visit a foreign culture if there aren't things that strike you as bizarre then your eyes aren't open true uh yeah I mean like I grew up in a different place I grew up in LA on the beach so it's different than than this world that that I'm occupying now so if you don't notice that there's things that are very strange then you're not really paying attention to the culture so uh I made a very long list of everything that I thought was bizarre about uh the Orthodox World which I'm not going to share with you today because that would take days um but what because that would take days um but what I thought I would do with you is I would share like my top three and my intention in Sharing to you the things that I thought were the most bizarre about the Orthodox world is that perhaps if you have noticed things that are strange then watching how somebody else processed through what they found bizarre might help you with your own personal approach to have what you find to be bizarre yeah in other words obviously you're not going to have the same list as I've got and you're not going to have the exact same approach to them as I took but when you see how I
