0:00 The more they accept the kingship of Hashem and pray to the Holy One, blessed be He — the Holy One, blessed be He, wages the wars. "Hashem will fight for you, and you shall remain silent." The Holy One, blessed be He, is a man of war; He fights the wars for us. Our mothers were barren — Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel and Leah. We were born from prayer, and because the Jewish people was born from prayer, all our strength and all our vitality will be only from prayer.
0:29 And everything you need, whether in spiritual matters or in material matters, there is never any advice greater than prayer. For what comes from prayer can never be taken away from a person. And what comes not from prayer is always left hanging. For prayer is a kind of acquisition from the Holy One, blessed be He. Before you make the blessing, it is "The earth is Hashem's and all that fills it." After you have blessed, "and the earth He has given to the children of man." Do you want to merit — just as you have the food you eat, and you are not robbing the Holy One, blessed be He?
0:58 Learn from this. Learn from this also to pray, both for a big thing and for a small thing. Each and every city — pray that the Holy One, blessed be He, will guard it, to pray for the people of the city, to pray for the city, to pray for the Land of Israel, to pray for the Jewish people, to pray for everyone. The power of prayer will bring peace and unity and victory, for Hashem, blessed be He, has shown us throughout all the generations. In every generation they tried to annihilate the Jewish people, "and it is this that has stood by us", and the Holy One, blessed be He, saves us from their hand.
1:26 And the power of prayer has always, always saved the Jewish people — but prayer with intent, at a time when a person is in trouble. From the Yerushalmi, chapter nine, halachah 1, in Berachos: "Let him not cry out to Michael, nor to Gavriel, nor to Rafael; to Me let him cry out, and I answer him at once" — so says the Holy One, blessed be He. We must always feel that we are praying to the Holy One, blessed be He, from the depths of the heart, and Hashem, blessed be He, wants to hear our prayer, and the power of this prayer is what will save the Jewish people, forever and for all eternity, with complete trust, for we have no one to lean on but our Father in Heaven.
1:58 It is only prayer. "And their cry went up to G-d" — the Jewish people was in Egypt; they could leave Egypt only through "and their cry went up"; they cried out to the Holy One, blessed be He. And the cry, in fact — as it is written, "and their cry went up to G-d" — comes from deep within them. When you pray, crying out to the Holy One, blessed be He — "and their cry went up to G-d." "Accept our cry and hear our outcry, You who know hidden things" — this a cry is like a prayer said with all one's bones.
2:23 It comes from inwardness, from the depths of our heart and from within us. One who prays at the level where he cries out to the Holy One, blessed be He — "the cry of the poor" — look at the poor man, the poor man, the destitute, the wretched, he prays from the depths of his heart. Why? Because he knows he has no bread to eat. And when a person needs salvation, he calls to the Holy One, blessed be He, from his innermost being. The poor man cries out — "the cry of the poor You will hear", for the poor man prays in a way that he relies on nothing, only on this prayer that is said.

2:54 So if we reach such a level that we know that He does everything for us, and He can win everything for us, it is all over in an instant. Have you forgotten the miracles He did for us? Can one forget these miracles? The miracles and the wonders? Do you know what it means to strike ten plagues in Egypt — that Moshe Rabbeinu came to Egypt, to the greatest superpower in the world. Pharaoh was king over all the kings who ruled the world. King over all the idols, all the magicians and all the sorcerers.
3:21 They were there in Egypt — Yochana and Mamre were their great ones and their sorcerers, of Egypt. And Moshe Rabbeinu comes and makes of them simply a laughing matter, with the powers and the miracles and the signs and the wonders, that he turns the whole world upside down, and everyone sees the miracles of Hashem. When the Jewish people leave Egypt, he splits the sea for them. What absolute control over all of nature — with blood, frogs, lice, wild beasts, pestilence, boils.
3:51 We sometimes speak, we pray before "the great, mighty and awesome G-d" — that He rules over the created beings; He rules over flesh and blood; He rules over creation; He rules over the minds of the created beings — "the heart of a king and ministers is in the hand of Hashem." So how can one get around this by anything else, if not prayer? And so, when they ask me, this is my answer. I think: only prayer. and may He bless all the residents of Tzfas and the north and the Galilee, that they have protection and defense, and salvations, miracles and wonders, and with good life; may the Holy One, blessed be He, guard them, and may they succeed and accomplish all good and from all good; and may the Holy One, blessed be He, guard them, and guard all the Jewish people,
4:28 all the Land of Israel, and may we have good tidings, salvations, miracles and wonders, and may the merit of the holy ones they have there in Tzfas, the whole cemetery, all the holy ones buried there, protect us, and bring the complete redemption, and protection and defense. So may it be His will, and let us say Amen.
