Pinas speaks about um it actually starts the story starts in last week's para where the Moabitete and Midionite women attempt to seduce Jewish men and women attempt to seduce Jewish men and then get them to worship idols. There was a um leader from the tribe of Shim by the name of Zimry who [clears throat] um came to Mosha with a Midionite woman asking and then ask challenging Moshe and then publicly cohabiting publicly cohabiting with this woman. And so Pinha stood up and killed them both on the spot. And at the time there was a plague. Hashem was punishing the people for their worship of the idol and for their um for their relations with the Midionite and Moabitete women. And um as a result of Pinas action, the plague a result of Pinas action, the plague stopped. And so Hashem tells Moshe that he's happy that Pinas um stopped what Pinas did. And he's giving him his covenant of peace and therefore um and he is making him as a coh. Although Pinras was a grandson of Aaron, he had not become a co-enance. He had already been born at the time when Aaron had been made a Cohen. He and his sons had future grandchildren since Pinas was already born at the time. He was not a Cohen yet, but he now becomes a Cohen. Um then the Torah tells Hashem tells
