Baruchim haba'im b'shem Hashem. What a great zechus is this after all the entire world on virtually every continent. We are all united learning the Torah of the Heilige Zera Shimshon. Our shiur is given for a zechus and refuah shleimah for Yasha David ben Chanina, Miriam Devorah bas Esther, Rabbanit Simi Simcha bas Miriam, Yaakov Aaron ben Malka Esther, and the Rav Chizkiyahu Dovid Cohen ben Shoshana. Besuros tovos for Yisrael ben Esther Mosha. We learn in the pasuk, Vayita benei Adam, "The idea was good in my eyes," Moshe Rabbeinu said. It was talking about the suggestion of sending meraglim to scout out Eretz Yisrael. The Zera Shimshon asks, "How could Moshe say, Vayita benei Adam, that it was good in my eyes? Wouldn't it have been better if the Benei Yisrael hadn't requested to send the spies? Instead, they could have had emunah in the promise of Hashem and Moshe." The Zera Shimshon notes that when Moshe Rabbeinu sent the spies, he gave them very precise instructions. It seemed to be superfluous. Obviously, spies know what they're looking for. He said, U're'isem es ha'aretz mahi, and continued, U'ma ha'aretz asher hi yosheves bah, and then continued, U'ma ha'aretz asher hi shmeina. "See the land how it is.
