0:00 Our goal here in the world in which we live is to try to reveal the light of Hashem, blessed be He, and to reveal the unique role for which we came into the world. Each one must change and transform the whole world until there is a revelation of His G-dliness in all the worlds, all of them, so that all will testify that Hashem is One - that is the true purpose. But for this the Satan lies in wait on the way, and especially in that he keeps a person from drawing close to a wise man and a true tzaddik. And why?

0:26 Because only a wise man and a true tzaddik can reveal in a person his true role and purpose, and bring out of him the hidden good. I once gave a parable for this: it is like when we go to the great sea. Inside the great sea there is a chest, and inside this chest there are keys, and these keys that are inside the chest in the great sea open another chest that is inside the great sea, and inside this chest there is a key that opens another chest that is inside the great sea, and there is found the true revelation of the person.

1:01 How hard is it to find the first chest? Right? It is impossible to find a chest - and you will find, among all the keys, you will find one key that opens another chest, and inside this chest you will find another key that will open another chest, and there you will find the key. This is, as it were, to show you how almost impossible it is to open the heart. The heart is very sealed. We pray the same prayer for 70-80 years - perhaps we will pray once with the intention of the heart before the Holy One, blessed be He. When one truly draws close to the true Rebbe, to the true tzaddik, it is to light up for me the way to find the keys and the treasures that are hidden within me.

1:37 The difference between a true Rebbe and a Rebbe who is not true: a true Rebbe tries to light me up, and to lift me up, and to make me grow, whereas a Rebbe who is not true tries to make himself grow over me, and to darken me, and to make me fall. So is it a deadly poison - all those who are not true? It is not truth, it is not the right way. That is to say, the true goal is to light up the souls of Israel.
