Let's start off just with some what's going on this week in the Jewish calendar and with the para and then we'll get to our really important topic that I know everyone's anxious for. I've been preparing for a long time. I'm very excited about this one. Um, we'll talk about the Cairo Genea. We'll get to that shortly. Um, just firstly, this week um is the uh th this Tuesday is the fast of the 10th of Tet. It is one of four um the 10th of Tet. It is one of four um fast days that we have commemorating the destruction of the temple. Um the 10th of Ta marks the day that the Babylonians besieged Jerusalem before the destruction of the first temple. And um it was the beginning essentially of the end the beginning of the destruction. And uh so we fast the morning to fast. If people are sick, they don't have to fast. But it's we start in the morning uh when the first light is visible and it ends um at dark um the exact times um it ends um at dark um the exact times um >> starts Monday night. >> It's oh no it's Tuesday. It starts Tuesday morning at exactly first lights at visible at 5:34 and it ends at 5:23. So it's starts late and ends early um because we're in the winter um fast. This week's para is para vi. It is the concluding parha of the first book of the Torah, Genesis. So when we finish this para, we will be 1/5if of the way through the Torah reading. And uh and
