So, Pesach is man cheirusenu. Shavuos is man matan toraseinu and Sukkos is man simchaseinu. Pesach is our birthday as a nation. It is on Pesach that Hakadosh Baruch Hu bore kacha us like mikerev We went down to Mitzrayim as a family. Shivim nefesh, Yaakov and his family. We developed into a tribe. We came out of Mitzrayim as a nation, as a people. So, Pesach as a nation is our birthday. And Pesach is unique. What is the message of Pesach? Sippur yetzias Mitzrayim is the soul of the Seder night. And the Rambam writes perek zayin halacha alef in hilchos chametz u'matzah, mitzvah assei she al Torah lesaper benisim veniflaos shenasu avoseinu beMitzrayim. We have a story to tell. And the time to tell that story is primarily beleil haSeder. What is the essence of the story? Nisim veniflaos she asah Hakadosh Baruch Hu im avoseinu beMitzrayim. It is not only a story of redemption. It is not a story of freedom. It is a story of miracles. And the Ramban explains, Ramban al haTorah the end of parshas Boi, why is this story so important? Men hanisim hagdolim bahamefursemim odamoyid benisim hanistorim sheheim yesod kol haTorah kulah. I do not remember such an exaggerated expression of the Ramban. What is the yesod of kol haTorah kulah? Sheein lanu chelek beToras Moshe she neida shekol divareinu umikreinu heim nisim
