Good day to everyone. The whys of Judaism. We're going to look today at the why of prayer. What's the purpose in prayer? And I want to share with you some practical applications. Practical tips of how we can get our prayer to accomplish its purpose. One of the greatest gifts that God has given man is the ability to pray. The fact that we can connect to him through prayer doesn't even make sense. Cuz think about it. We believe that God is infinite. That means he has no limitation. No boundaries. We can We can't even grasp him. Yet at the same time he says that we have the ability to connect to him through prayer. We're finite, he's infinite. How does that work? B'chol Krov Elov Every time, all the time, whenever we call out to God, God answers our prayers. You might ask, "Well, I don't know we see God answering my prayers." But it says in the Medrish, there are some prayers that get answered after 40 days. Some after 30 days, some after 20. Some after less, some in one day. So the reason we don't see answers to our prayers because they don't always get answered in the same day. However, every prayer is accepted. In the last few generations, there were leaders who said that there were even prayers that might not be accepted for hundreds of years. But eventually, every prayer is accepted. So, what type of gift is this that God
