0:00 If you build the sukkah and the wind comes and blows it away - it cannot stand up to the wind, it is invalid. It is invalid, right? In Tractate Sotah, on page 3, the Gemara says that a person does not commit a sin unless a spirit of folly has entered him. What is this spirit of folly? The spirit of folly is against that sukkah. We are building a sukkah all the time. Every day we build a sukkah, we unify the Names Havayah and Adnus, we reveal the Name of Hashem, we reveal G-dliness.
0:27 But if a spirit of folly enters you, that is a wind that comes to blow away the sukkah, then your sukkah is invalid. So you also need to know that wind. Every day we build a sukkah anew. We don't build a sukkah yesterday, we don't build a sukkah the day before yesterday - now we build a sukkah. Reveal G-dliness now, make the unification of the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Shechinah. Reveal G-dliness, shine the light of Hashem, blessed be He, in all the worlds, reveal the light of Hashem, blessed be He, in the whole entire world. The revelation of the sukkah is that we reveal that the Holy One, blessed be He, is King, He took us out of Egypt, and this is in memory of the Clouds of Glory.
0:56 The clouds... 'You have covered Yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through,' that people pray and pray, and it even seems to a person that Hashem does not hear him, and it even seems to him that the prayer is not accepted, and it takes him time, he goes through many adventures, and the hiding of the Face, and he sees screens, s'chach, the sukkah covering, over his head, he sees s'chach, and he must always remember that beyond the s'chach, the Holy One, blessed be He, is here, not far. The s'chach - you have the barrier, here is the s'chach, here, the Holy One, blessed be He, is right here on the s'chach. All the screens that hold back from you, the Holy One, blessed be He, is not far from them, He is here.
1:25 And what you don't see - it is because you built your sukkah, and there was a wind that blew your sukkah away. That is the spirit of folly that we said the Sages teach, that it is the reason a person commits a sin. So one must always remember to see Hashem, blessed be He, to reveal His kingship, and to understand that there are no screens at all, and everything, everything is the revelation of His G-dliness, blessed be He. May we merit to give Hashem, blessed be He, satisfaction, Amen. May there be good news, Amen, may you have miracles and wonders, cleave to the holy King!
