The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Daniel Kalish’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

I want to I want to tell you up to two things I want to share. There's a Gemara I came here. I drove I drove here to share a Gemara with the guys. But I want to share also two things that happened to me this week. I traveled a lot this week. I was in for Hashem in Baltimore, Lakewood, and Chicago. And for for Hashem of our father Hashem and and so but I have a Hashem. You'll hear I'm going to connect two things just the going to connect two things just the truth. But Hashem we're making a graduation on our campus. And and I've been clearing it's very big to me. The parents are coming. The parents are coming. And I I want a big shift over the last two years is the parents are in the Yeshiva. You're in Yeshiva Shuli and that mom in Yeshiva. You're in Yeshiva. And I thought about it this way and I I love the Father's Day, the Parents Day, the parents are much more involved in the parents are much more involved in the Yeshiva than ever before Hashem. Again this Shabbos there'll be two families coming to Shabbos. Families are coming Shabbos more. It's something important to me the graduation that this is the first time ever that it's on our campus the graduation. The parents are coming. So it's been on my mind. Things are important to me and I like preparation. I'm I'm in the Yeshiva and see the one is big. I prepare my mind has been thinking a lot about what it's going to look like the Torah.
