so good morning so this week is um part we start the fourth book of the Torah as I mentioned last week we finished the third book so we're four fths of the way through three fifths sorry of the way through the Torah and book number four is called B mid and so is the par called B which means the desert it begins with Hashem speaking to Moshe in the desert telling him that he should count the people count now this is not the first time they count the people the people that already been counted previously but they should count them again and so they're going to count the people once again and um they're going to count the People based on previously they counted just a total number now they're going to count them based on each tribe so they're going to get a tribe by tribe by tribe number and each person is we we say should be counted based it's the men were counted from the ages of 20 and up till 60 the talw says and uh they should be counted based on their father's identity so whatever tribe their father was from that is the tribe that they're going to be counted with then the um Torah after giving us the number then goes through the leaders of the 12 tribes then gives us the number of how many men there were in each tribe between the ages of 20 and 60 those were men for war there were a total of 603 goes tribe by tribe how many in each tribe then gives us a total 63,5 then now in the counting the tribe of Joseph was split into two as it
