the afternoon cola for the spring the following monday and we will continue our new series on failing to plan is planning to fail jewish considerations in wills and estates will pick up with not next monday but the monday that that follows it's good to have you back just a reminder of some of the things that we said last week to introduce this new series we spoke about the importance of having not only a halachic will not a living will not what will determine what is the proper conduct at the end of our lives medically which is a critically important subject but will the issues that determine what is appropriate and proper with an actual will meaning how we want our assets and our material possessions to pass to the next generation how will we bequeath to the next generation of of people we've talked about not only having a halachic will but having an ethical will not only transmitting our property and our assets our things and possessions but our values what we stand for what we care about communicating that to the next generation the importance of an ethical will we talked about the fact that everyone doesn't engage in well properly using the mechanisms and tools the instruments that we have then in fact the one we left it to might be stealing from the rightful heirs to our assets and therefore not only is it an injustice and disservice to ourselves to not follow the proper halacha but it could become a terrible injustice and disservice to our inheritors who will fight and bicker and bear resentment if things are not distributed equitably if things are not communicated uh or given out fairly but even more so
