Okay, good morning everyone. Shalom aleikhem. Chodesh Elul. We're going to take a look at the Chofetz Chaim on the mitzvah of teshuvah. This is an excerpt from Sefer Torah Saba'os. A person needs to know that his sins are like a heavy load and he should not delay and keep the ruach tumah on himself. The Navi Yechezkel says, "Hashlichu me'aleichem kol pish'eichem." Cast off from upon upon you all your sins. Rashi omer, "K'mai ha niskar lissa maso l'veit Reuven." Someone who's hired to carry a burden, a package to Reuven's house, "Mish'nichnas sha'ah rishonah l'veit Reuven, take off umasha chashuv k'maso achsav ein umasha chashuv k'fi l'egel." Like
