Recording in progress. Okay, good morning, friends. I want to share with you some very important ideas regarding the upcoming Yom Kippurim Shisha Li'or Shabbos. We mentioned in shul on the tinus the great segulah and koach that we have every Friday night for kaparas avoinos. The Gemara in Shabbos says on daf kuf yud tes amud beis, Omar Rav Chisda, Omar Mar Ukva, kol hamispallel b'erev Shabbos, anyone kol hamispallel b'erev Shabbos, anyone who davens erev Shabbos for Omar Vayechulu, shnei malachei hashareis hamelavin lo l'adam, the two heavenly angels that accompany a person, manichin yedeihem al rosho, they put their hand on your head, v'omrim lei, they say, "V'sar avoinecha v'chatosecha t'chupa." Your sins will be removed. It seems that saying Vayechulu is a very powerful segulah for kaparas avoinos. And Rav Miller writes in his sefer on Netzach Yisrael Netzach Yisrael that how powerful then this moment is that it's similar to Yom Kippur, that by declaring one's belief in the creation of the world and God resting on the Shabbos, that moment is as powerful as Yom Kippur because it's mechaper one's avoinos. You may ask, "Well, what's so powerful about that moment? After all, we already know there's a God, so what of what significance is it that we say it again?"
