In Siman Taf Peh Tes, as I'm sure everyone is familiar with, the halacha is that if you forgot and you did not make Sefiras HaOmer at night, then there's a way to rectify it by counting during the day. In the Siman HaMechaber in Siman Taf Peh Tes of Zayin, in the Shulchan Aruch, it's Sif Tes Zayin. Let me tell you what the Mechaber says first and we'll see it in the Shulchan Aruch. Shachach u'varach kol halaila, yisbor bayom b'lo bracha. Case so if you forgot your count, you could count during the day without a bracha. Says the Mishna Berurah, according to many poskim that b'dieved Sefiras Hayom, it works. B'dieved counting during the day works. So let's say last night you didn't say the Sefirah right now, you could say Hayom Shiva asar yom shem shnei shavuos. Shlosha yamim la'omer. Shouldn't say it standing. Yeah, the Sha'ar HaTziyon says that the Bahag in Hilchos Shavuos and the Rambam poskin niktzar bayom kosher. If you cut the the Omer during the day, it's it's okay. And we know counting is totally on the ketziras ha'omer. V'ya du'a d'rachmana talya Sefirah b'ketzirah d'chasiv meihachal chermesh bakama tachel lispor. Although you could push off and like Tosefos says, even if ketzirah vayom kosher, but Sefirah needs temimus. Fine. But there is a a valid opinion that um Sefirah bayom, it works
