The opening of this shiur, in The Yanuka — Rav Shlomo Yehuda’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

We have the privilege of hearing some words of strength From Moreinu v'Rabeinu the holy Gaon, Harav HaYinuka Shlit"a With Hashem's help he strengthen all of the precious souls Who are here with us, with Hashem's help With permission from all the Rabbanim, all the holy soldiers, officers, high-ranking officers Each one in accordance with the honor due him May Hashem Baruch Hu grant you consistent health May He protect you from trouble and distress and grant you good life To [enable you to] crown Hakadosh Baruch Hu in His Kingdom Our Sages teach us in the Talmud – Berachot 13a [The pasuk states]: "Behold I shall do something new, now it shall spring forth" Rav Yosef teaches: this refers to the war of Gog uMagog The Sages are trying to explain to us Everyone speaks today about wars and says: Gog uMagog However, Gog uMagog is something entirely different that is not relevant here Certainly Hashem Baruch Hu is full of compassion and full of mercy And there is no comparison between what the world says and this subject However, the Gemara is teaching us That we say that these latter troubles cause us to forget the first earlier ones And this permits us to give a beautiful explanation and clarification about these times This can be compared to a person who was walking and met a wolf and was saved, he went and told people that he met a wolf And after that he met a lion and was saved from him He forgot about the wolf from whom he was saved He speaks about the lion from whom he was saved And so after that he met a snake and was saved from him
