Okay. Um I want to I want to do I want to do a series about great kashrut machlokesim that happened over the generations. There's many interesting foods and personalities and seforim that were written and that dealt with these kashrut machlokesim. But I want to give a bit of hakdama to to the to the sugia of kashrut machlokesim with some relatively basic information. Some of it more, some of it less, but let's let's give a basic hakdama. Everybody knows that the the hakdama. Everybody knows that the the Torah in parshas Shmini is metaveh us about which foods are permissible to eat as a Jew, which foods are not permissible to eat. The Shulchan Aruch, the the Gemara in Chulin spends you know a bunch of blatt explaining all the different simanei kashrut, what's kosher, what's not kosher. The simanim in Shulchan Aruch, there's a whole bunch of simanim in Shulchan Aruch. Now, the basic idea I think everyone knows since they're a kid is that when you eat something that's not kosher there's timtum halev. There's some sort of something called timtum halev. You know, the the opposite when you eat You know, the the opposite when you eat something that is kosher it gives you the right koach and the right abilities to do what you need to do. Now, I just want to give the background to that, explain the concept of timtum halev, and we'll we'll move forward into the actual kashrut disputes following that. So so really the the the idea of timtum halev starts from a Gemara in So so let's start like this. It actually has to do with this passage in parsha. Chazal in many places throughout Shas say that have zuhama. Now, it's not clear what zuhama means, but the Gemara directly the mishna in Shabbos in
