the first part of our program is called thinking correctly it's a cognitive approach how to use the mind and to think straight the first part of thinking straight is how to see yourself correctly how to see yourself as an adequate good enough valuable person the self is made up of six dimensions six aspects of self as we see here on our poster number one is our intellect second our social skills third our second our social skills third our personality or character or meet-ups for our spirituality are igneous our morality five our family background and six our personal accomplishments the things we are working on to grow to be a better person these six aspects of self are six many self concepts each of us has an intellectual self-concept a social self-concept a spiritual social self-concept a spiritual self-concept a personality or character self-concept a medial self-concept a family self-concept and an accomplishment self-concept these six mini self concepts go into a global global self-concept called self esteem if I have a valuable feeling about myself as an intellect as a social being with my meadows and spirituality overall I'll develop a sense of global self-esteem but if any one of these areas is lacking then I have to build up areas is lacking then I have to build up this concept this mini self-concept to develop a holistic whole view of myself now let's do an exercise on this DVD you'll find a location which will allow you to download a copy of this wheel it's called the wheel of strengths six mini self concepts I want you to download this wheel and work with me as we go through these six mini self concepts first look
