uh we continue with our series of P nevertheless since we stand at the threshold of the holiday of shab it becomes primordial to connect sh to that part of P that we will be studying everybody knows that sh is T it's the holiday which is the sixth of Sian when the Torah 3,200 years ago was given at the mountain of Si handed by Moses to the people of Israel who came out from Egypt since then the Jewish people up to today the Jewish people lives by this Torah unchanged unscathed forever and ever it is the Torah that fashioned the Jewish people it is the Torah that made the Jewish people what it is it is the Torah that elevated the Jewish people above all nations whether we Jews confirm it or not but most of the world knows that and many of the Nations confirm it some to our benefit some to our detriment all this is due to that day when the Torah was given to us our sages said that the Torah is a cherished possession of God it's his knowledge and he was generous so much to share it with us to give it to us so God everywhere tells us through the prophets I have given you a good deal a good acquisition never abandon it the truth who does appreciate the Torah only the people who study the Torah and the more you study it the more your appreciation is definite and great and even Jews who do not study Torah at least they have the knowledge that tells them that without the Torah we cannot survive so we know that the Torah not only elevated us to be the chosen Nation but it is the source of our
