number 16 today mishna so as i said just yesterday the schlamus of title there is a very famous statement of rabbenu going which everybody quotes but most people mistakenly quote um our nation is not a nation only with its title but what rabbenu said iguana actually wrote is one additional letter in a singular tense but in plural elo betray zejo and i am thoroughly convinced what he means is what sets us apart is the combination of turtish of the seventh others also believe in the bible we are unique because of torah like israel is also based on two foundations and that is the mishna and the talmud we spoke about this yesterday what is the difference between mishnah and talmud different eras different sages different form the relationship between the tanoam and the ameroim period the greatest ameroim spoke with unbelievable respect admiration about their predecessors about the tanoin was the very first generation of amirohim he was the leader of all of the babylonians you shall me and bjorkner says the native end of noon the distance between the tranoam and we is like the distance between angels and mortals or maybe the difference between human beings and animals so even the greatest amirohim exalted their predecessors i wrote a very lengthy contrast called imrishanim
