good evening everybody welcome back we're coming to you live on Facebook from our live class here in Houston Texas uh at the torch Center uh for our weekly muser Mondays the topic today is peace Shalom we know that our president the president of the United States is currently in Israel and uh he was uh in Saudi Arabia yesterday and the day before and his yesterday and the day before and his mission is to bring peace to the world and I think it's a very worthwhile uh conversation to have about what is peace and why is peace so important okay so let's first start with Psalms King David tells us chapter Shalom seek peace and pursue it Shalom seek peace and pursue it we see in ethics of our fathers the green book ethics of our fathers chapter one Mish 12 be of the Disciples of Aaron shalom shalom love peace and pursue peace t love your fellow man and and bring them closer to the man and and bring them closer to the path of Torah so the T the Torah asks many people asking throughout the words of our sages we ask the same question what does what does it mean here shalom shalom you know you ask go around the room here everybody like peace everybody think peace is important yeah everyone think okay unanimous everybody thinks peace is important that's great so we're all on the same page the question is what is so unique about Aaron and his quity of peace that we say oh be like
