Uh good afternoon. This is the divrei Torah on parshas Re'eh. It's the fourth parsha in sefer Devarim. The last the last sefer of um the Chumash, my books of Moses, which will conclude on Simchas Torah, which this year comes out on Shabbos. The parsha begins with the following pasuk. Re'eh anochi noten lifneichem hayom bracha v'klala. You can you see before me there in place You can you see before me there in place before you both a blessing and a curse. The parsha then goes on to discuss a number of pesukim. The blessing and the curse that are going to be given once they cross the Jordan. Six on one hill and six on the other hill. And it says, when you get into the Eretz Yisrael, Eretz Canaan, you must destroy all of the idols and high places of the nations that they've been forced out. And it says that you will have a place where you will bring the sacrifices. It's a warning again against the vote of Zora. Also talks about the laws of kashrut and how you going to um when your borders expand. It also warns against serving Hashem with idolatrous practices, with idolatrous practices, idolatrous prophet, and missionaries. What happens if you have a entire city that rebels? There's a whole discussion whether this actually happened or not. And there's still other opinions from the moral net. And then it goes saying you should not do a sign of mourning. You shall And it also goes into laws of kashrut. What animals you can eat, and fish and other creatures. Talks about bringing a tithe to Hashem. And then you um on the third you give offerings to um the poor people, the Levites, and converts. Then it talks about shmita. On the seventh year let the land lie fallow. And you all gets cancelled.
