anyway the ten commandments where where did we get to the uh we spoke about we spoke about keeping shabbos right and then it says like this cabela's america on page 410 if anybody wants to look cabernet sauvignon the fifth commandment is honoring your parents oh yeah sorry about that one i really am but uh having having you know chaffed for for years and years being a child but now that i'm a parent of course i it's my favorite mitzvah and uh it's funny what it's really quite funny is that the you know parent parent this seems to this seems to be a mitzvah that all parents are aware of it doesn't matter whether they may never have been exposed to the bible they may never have been exposed to 10 commandments but somehow or other there is some kind of a just an intuitive understanding that you have to honor your children have to honor their parents um what is it what is the idea where does it come from so it's interesting you know that the two tablets of stone were identical their size and shape were completely identical um and on the first side on the first tablet of stone were the first five commandments on the other tablet were the last five commandments and what's interesting about them is that they're described by the rabbis the first set of tablets are mitzvahs which pertain to our relationship with god right spiritual right the other ones are ones which pertain to our relationship between ourselves what's called ben adam
