hello and welcome to the home front you know criticism is such a part of life sometimes it can feel like people are criticizing us all the time or we're criticizing other people and especially when it comes to husbands and wives husbands critical of their wives wives critical of their husbands does it have a place does it have a purpose is there anything positive that can come out of it people instinctively recoil at criticism someone tells me you did this wrong you did that wrong so instinctively I may try and defend myself and surely that's not going to help me how should a person criticized in a correct way in a positive way if at all we're honored to have with us today rabbi m yahoo abramov and i wonder if i could you share with us some of your thoughts on the issue well I'd like to criticize your opening remarks there's very little justification for criticizing at all it's a tremendous miss concept people think that the way of altering someone's behavior is by being critical of that person there are alternatives there was a great sage called the huff it's hi I'm have a shame who focused a lot in his writings on the issue of man-to-man relationships and one of the big no knows that he registers is a concept called maragon in Hebrew translated as the critic he says
