it's my privilege to introduce requirements who will share thank you robert middlemen for your very kind words and i'm going to personally welcome everybody tonight very special days the jewish calendar is 10 days a time when every jewish person can connect to his creator in a way not possible the whole year the prophet tells us search for hashem when he's found and the rabbi says when did he see power and the rabbi says when did he see power this is always found he's always here he's found easier to connect with him these are the 10 days starting with after yom kippur those are the days hashem is found and if we do the right thing say the right things think the right things we can connect with him the word we cannot connect any other time to it i wanted to discuss tonight tonight the subject of chuba chuva usually is translated repentance i don't know that means exactly the root of the word but i don't think it really covers the word the real translation of means returning when a person sins he's going away from god when he does true voice coming back to when he does true voice coming back to god again coming back coming home it's a very very special day yom kippur and we start off he kept us alive he kept us well and it's a wonderful day even though it's difficult fasting doing the things we have to learn for but these results are so tremendous and so special that it's a day like no other day and therefore we thank him for keeping us alive to witness this wonderful day so we have with us tonight
