Peace and blessings. We continue studying the wisdom of Solomon in the book of Proverbs. Today we will reflect on a verse that contains both a wonderful guide for everyday life for every person and also something that relates to the entire nation especially as Independence Day approaches to take for ourselves some foundations and advice for life. King Solomon says, "From the fruit of a man's mouth, he shall be satisfied with good, and the recompense of a man's good, and the recompense of a man's hands shall be returned to him." This verse, like the rest of the book of Proverbs, is a book of parables. It compares a person's mouth to a tree that produces fruit. A person who plants a tree, and he knows in advance that he is investing money, but this tree produces fine fruits. then he will receive fine fruits and enjoy them be satisfied from them. On the other hand, a person who plants a tree of bitter almonds cannot later come and complain. Why don't I later come and complain. Why don't I have sweet almonds? This is what you gave. This is what you get. The king says from the fruit of a man's mouth. Know that your mouth produces fruit and the fruits of a person's mouth will bring him good. Meaning a person who speaks good words creates a pleasant atmosphere around him. So all his life he will be satisfied with good.
