hi everybody uh so uh we're getting into the home stretch for the holiday of shavuos the holiday in which we receive hes Torah and uh to give you a thought about that I want to go back a little bit not so much this week's para although this week's para is also very important this week's para is one of the scariest parts of the Torah the Torah says if you keep hashem's mitzvos there are going to be many many good blessings good things you're going to happen if on good things you're going to happen if on the other hand the Jewish people violate the Torah uh there's going to be death and destruction and holocost and this is called the to the to is the rebuke and it is considered to be so frightening that it's not even proper you'll notice that the one who reads the Torah reads it in a very low tone as if not to say it out loud and it's even customary that the balore gets the Aliyah we don't call up another person meaning it's not right for me to person meaning it's not right for me to read the Torah and curse you so I kind of you know you curse yourself you're kind of reading the Torah and you get the the alah uh one little point I don't want to talk about the to so much today all I can tell you is that if you study the to you see the frightening point that all of the tragedies that befall the Jewish people are are described in the Torah itself just it's very very scary meaning Holocaust all of those things you can actually see in the actual in the actual
