The portion of Naso is always read either the Shabbos after Shavuos or sometimes even before Shavuos. And therefore, we must say that Naso is directly connected with the holiday of Shavuos. How does the parsha of Naso connect with the holiday of Shavuos? Number two is we speak at the end of the portion pertaining the gifts that the Nesi'im, the princes of every tribe, brought to the Holy Temple. After the brought to the Holy Temple. After the Holy Temple was inaugurated, so for the first 12 days, the 12 princes of the tribes of Israel brought a special sacrifice, a sacrifice in order to inaugurate the altar in the Holy Temple. And we find something interesting here. It says that on the second day to the offerings in verse number 18 number 18 in chapter number seven, it says "Bayom hamishini, on the second day, hikriv Nesanel ben Tzuar, nasi Yissachar." Who was the one that brought the second day the sacrifice? This was the leader of the tribe of Yissachar, and his name was Nesanel ben Tzuar. The Torah goes on to say "Hikriv es karbono." He brought a sacrifice, whatever it was. And then it goes on to say So Rashi tells us here, if you look at verse number 18 and verse number 19, we find the word "hikriv". You see that word "hikriv"? "Hikriv" in verse 18, he offered. And again in verse number 19, crave, he offered. You see that? Now, there's a difference in spelling between the two hikrivs. The hikriv the first time has 1 2 3 4 5 letters.
