system for sending emails to um uh you know sophisticated systems for generating text to systems that can generate image or video or voices um and and those are all different things that get called artificial intelligence um the most recent kind of types of artificial intelligence that have been um making people very excited because they're much more sophisticated in advance than previous systems have been are generated AI systems so are generated AI systems so the the biggest um advances have been in systems that can generate text so they can respond to people with text they can write stories and poetry and um response uh you know they can respond to shyla's incorrectly or correctly um and uh the other application of the technology is you know generate a video which has gotten increasingly realistic which has gotten increasingly realistic um fundamentally these are computer programs they're very sophisticated computer programs um that use large libraries of previous um text or video and they screen a sophisticated network of um a neural network to reproduce um data and things from from that they it data and things from from that they it it mixes the information and comes up with things that are um reasonable responses and and this seems like it should be uh pretty um basic thing but it turns out that it's incredibly powerful as as I think lots of people have seen what are some of the dangers that you focus on in your in your research so we're in um current artificial intelligence systems are very capable of doing lots
