Hi, this is Rabbi Yilawsky, and welcome to the Rabbi Yilawsky show. Um and we are in Sefirat HaOmer. We are counting every day because every day counts. I didn't make that up, but it has a nice ring to it, don't you think? So, um the uh the period we're going through now is the period of preparation for Torah. And uh that's it. This is This is from Shavuot. In fact, it's an amazing the Ramban says that Sefirat HaOmer is like a long Chol HaMoed. Going from Pesach to Shavuot, it's sandwiched in between. Which uh um which is a uh a way of approaching it that we know that with counting from Pesach to Shavuot, it's connected. So, therefore, the days of Sefirat HaOmer are not just counting, but there's work to do. And what is the work to do? We've spoken about this in the past. These days are the derech eretz kodma laTorah. You have to uh work on yourself in order to be able to receive the Torah. Now, I may have pointed this out uh before, right? I I feel like I have, but uh you know, sometimes you have that feeling of déjà vu where you feel like you've said something and you're not really sure. So, I feel like I've spoken about this before. I'm not really sure. You know,
