This week's para has two of my favorite words in it a lot. Hayam and sima today and happiness. And we all know that really because people live in the past and the future anxiety and trauma and guilt and stuff following them. That's what ruins their happiness in general. So just being able to come into the present moment can tap you into a place of sim. That's why we often say that babies are very why we often say that babies are very happy in general is because they're living completely in the present moment. They're just experiencing the present moment and the present moment in general is good. Unless you're hungry or you're teething or you got something in your diaper, which is an external factor that takes away from the pleasant present experience, but then you get rid of that. You drink or you change the diaper or you have whatever for the diaper or you have whatever for the teething stuff and then you're happy. So the Torah is really a whole book of bringing us into the present moment and tapping into a state of consciousness and happiness. The first thing that this week's para als says that you should bring your first of your fruits. We have this amazing mitzvah as a farmer should bring the first of his fruits to Hashem. And what's that for? is really to show
