The most dangerous person in your life is not always the one that you're fighting. Sometimes it's the one standing right next to you telling you that you cannot win. Korah was not a fool. He was brilliant, learned, respected, a leader. Yet he took every single bit of that potential and he used it to drag 250 of the greatest people in Klal Yisrael straight into a pit. That's the real tragedy of this parsha. Not just what happened to Korah, but Not just what happened to Korah, but what happened to the people around him. Destructive conflict is the most underestimated [music] force in the world. It disguises itself as righteous anger, as [music] justice, as standing up for what's right. Korah's argument sounded almost holy, but underneath it was jealousy, ego, a hunger for power he couldn't even admit to himself, and it consumed him. And it consumed everyone around him. The Chofetz Chaim once became aware of a bitter dispute between two people [music] that was destroying their community and family.
