Speaking Alot and Doing Nothing

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

Uh good evening. I'm glad to be back here and I want to first thank Steve and Danny for organizing and making all the necessary advertisement for this lecture and uh the family that it's not the first time we here. They always open their door for us generously. May Hashem pay the reward big time. uh we are one day after the parasa there's few ideas from the parasa that I may want to talk about especially now in these days we are in the middle of a serious battle that's taking place right now in Israel between the secular Jews to the religious Jews but not just the religious Jews what we call aim people who sit what we call Hebrew Toratam or Manutam. Their Torah is their life. They sit all day and they learn. And for about 40 or 50 years since the time of Bengurion and was the first prime minister of Israel, there was always a a law that everybody understood that every person who sits and learn Torah and have is married and have three kids and his wife does not work, the government helps them with a little bit money like $200, $250 a month. I know it sounds nothing cuz in America it's really nothing. But in Israel, it's the difference between starving or not. That's really the difference because it could be bread and milk for the whole month or with some eggs. Anyway, these people don't have any luxury in their life. No cars, no nothing, not even a bicycle. They live very very low life standards and they fighting big time now to stop it. Uh it's very interesting because you know how it is once a person have an idea everyone jump everybody
