Um it's the Mabit it was written by uh Rabbeinu Moshe ben Yosef mi-Trani. It's a very I'm I'm told it's a very important safer Yesod um which is not learned for some reason it's not learned um as much as some of the other sifrei Yesod. Um just uh just a little bit of uh background in general um the Mabit um was one of those um 16th century Tzfas um talmidei chachamim mekubalim the same as the Arizal and the Alshich and the Beit Yosef and um they they all had a similar all those great gedolei hador that really like sort of reframe reframe Judaism if you will or gave it to a a new uh version many people call it the Artscroll edition. Yiddishkeit uh combination of Kabbalah and Halacha and and uh that all came from Tzfas and that's why we all go to Tzfas. to me. I've been looking for somebody to do that for years. Yeah, we're okay. I think so. Oh. It's okay. This just uh a little bit of history just makes everything a little bit more um understandable is that the Mabit was born in um Salonika in Greece. And uh and uh quickly became a a big gun there for a while.
