The Friday night in my shul, I always speak Friday night. I shared a lot of Torah and I said, "If we need to have war, let it be now." Chodesh Adar, the first Mishnah in Maseches Megillah, Megillah nekra'as be-yud alef, yud beis, yud gimmel. So, it starts yud alef. Shabbos was yud alef. Yud alef is the first day we could read the Megillah. the Megillah. And if we need to have war, let it be now. So, let's hope let's hope that finally this Malchus Ahashverosh, you know, it is so symbolic. We're back in Persia again. Iran is Persia. We're back there again. The present-day Haman. So, you know, what is unique about Neis Purim? And Purim is the only time we have simcha with no boundaries, with no simcha with no boundaries, with no limits. Chayav ish livasumei ad d'lo yada that that is such a strange mitzvah. You know, simcha always is confined. Yom tov basar ve-yayin. You yoitzeh with daled daled be-yayin, ke-zayis basar. It is confined. Everything has a shiur. Purim has no shiur. It's limitless. So, simchas Purim is poreitzes kol gvul. There are two things unique about Purim. The gezeirah, the danger. Never before did anybody dare to think of the final solution. We had hundreds of years of slavery in Eretz Mitzrayim. And for a short while, there was a terrible gezeirah called "Al ben Yisrael yehi asher yishlach." Kill all the male babies. But there was no gezeirah on the adults. There was no sale on the girls.
