The Kuntres Sicha is Chelek Chof Ches, volume 28, the Sicha for Erev Chag Hashavuos. This Sicha will explain the significance of Erev Chag Hashavuos as it was in the first time and also as it applies each and every single year. As a quick introduction to be familiar with the concepts that we may discuss in the Sicha so the difference between the mitzvos which were performed, observed prior to the official giving of the Torah versus the official giving of the Torah versus the mitzvos we do now after Matan Torah. Although perhaps one can think there is a connection, however, the mitzvos which we do now are emphatically not connected to those prior to Matan Torah, rather they are due to the fact that we were commanded by Hashem by Matan Torah, by the giving of the Torah, and thus we receive the ability, the power to impact the world because Hashem gave it to us, this because Hashem gave it to us, this commandment that is, by Matan Torah. Another thing to be familiar with that the giving of the Torah, meaning the event at Har Sinai Mount Sinai, on the sixth day of Sivan did not actually begin, so to speak, on the sixth day itself, but rather as we read in the Torah reading of Shavuos, it actually all began in the days leading up to the sixth of in the days leading up to the sixth of Sivan. Namely, already for when they arrived on Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the first day of Sivan, they arrived they arrived to the desert of Sinai and all the days following it that were which were all elaborate preparation to this very special event. In fact, we find that every single day, almost of those five days leading up to the sixth day of Sivan, there were much activity, namely there was much
