Hi, this is Rabbi Wolowski with our question and answer series. If the women didn't sin at chet ha'egel, why did Hashem have a hot minute to destroy the whole klal Yisrael and rebuild from Moshe Rabbeinu? This is such an interesting question. Uh I'm going to expand the question a little bit. I have been asked by girls, "Why do I have to dress tznius? Because boys are going to look and have Because boys are going to look and have bad thoughts? Tell them not to look. Why do I have to dress in a way that I don't find comfortable because of them?" Yeah? So, uh this is a fascinating question and I'm going to add another level to the question. People say to me, "I understand why all the irreligious Jews got killed in the Holocaust, but how come all the religious Jews and the tzaddikim got killed in the Holocaust?" tzaddikim got killed in the Holocaust?" I've been asked all these different questions and the answer to all of them is the same idea. And that is the concept of kol Yisrael areivim zeh lazeh. We are all responsible for each other. And therefore, although there is an idea of looking at a person as an individual, there's also a store a concept, I should say, of everyone having to be part of klal Yisrael.
