Cuz you weren't here. Parashat talks about a very nice a very important concept and I think everyone knows this concept, but I don't think anybody knows the reason why it's a soul. Right? Everyone knows you're not allowed to lend a Jew money with interest. Everybody knows. There's almost no one in the world that doesn't know this. You have guys who work in uh cash lending businesses and they you wake them up in the middle of the night and they know this. Other stuff they don't know, yeah, but this they know. But nobody knows why. Right? When I say nobody knows, I mean most people don't know. And tonight I wanted to really ask the question. What's the problem? Why does the Torah tell us that a person is not allowed to take interest from another Jew? What would be the issue? What would be the prohibition? So you would think, like most people, that it's because God wants you to help people and that's the way you ultimately help them. That's the reason Alshich says. One pasuk earlier, right, one verse earlier from when the Torah tells you not lend another Jew money with with with interest, it says that if your brother should stumble and he should put his hand with you,
