Tractate Nedarim, Chapter 11, Mishnah 1, says the Mishnah: "These are vows that he breaks that involve mental torture: if I bathe, and if I do not bathe, and if I adorn myself, and if I do not adorn myself, said Rabbi Yossi. These are not vows that involve mental torture. So, just as we learned, the husband is permitted to break his wife's vows, the father is also permitted to break his break his daughter's vows, and he is also subject to their oaths." Kosher regarding the father who breaks the vows of his family, there is a great disagreement among the Rishonim, as some Rishonim write that the vows and oaths that a husband can break to his wife are the vows and oaths that a father breaks to his family. This means things that have a soul in them or things that are between him and her , that is, things that can directly depict him . . But our Rabbi Maimonides does not rule in this way. Maimonides rules that a father can break all of his daughter's vows. It doesn't matter if it's a spiritual matter. It has nothing to do with the soul. And only with regard to the husband and his wife is there a division of soul and things between him and her. Therefore, what the Mishnah says here, and these are vows that he breaks, then according to our Rabbanu Rambam, this applies here only to the husband towards his wife, and with regard to other Rishonim, wife, and with regard to other Rishonim, this will also be true for a husband towards his wife and a father towards his daughter. The Mishnah says, and these are vows that he breaks. The Bartnura in the Gemara interprets the danderim and small vows in the language of the Sages. Shavuot in general are vows. This means
