I was in the real estate business and I had a house, three houses on one block on South 8th Street [music] in Williamsburg. It's a three-alarm fire already. Maybe I could represent you to be your adjuster." I said, "I don't know." And I rushed and I went don't know." And I rushed and I went down to the fire. In the time being, the whole building burned down. And one of the tenants recognized me and he just started screaming and everybody was running after me. They wanted to kill me with knives. The police stopped me and they said, "Go to my car." And they took me away two blocks. And all of a sudden, the fire marshal came over there and he says, "Come with me. People say that you were here 2 hours before the [music] fire hours before the [music] fire and you made the fire over here and you ran away and you came back now and you're under arrest." I says, "I wasn't here. It's not true." He said, "I'm sorry. There is witness." Satmar got a very big lawyer who represent the mafia, big guy, and he represented me. After I got out, I went straight to the Rebbe in Satmar on 15th Avenue and I told the Rebbe what happened. The Rebbe took his knish. "Don't worry.
