today we are middle discussing the laws of being a mensch and today we're going to talk about the ethic of pace not waste not okay so what's fascinating is the Torah deals with so many two issues that today are incredibly relevant and today are being talked about all over the place but you almost don't find a source for it in anywhere else in history really when I was in Social Work school when I when I was in Social Work school when I was in Tulsa where school I remember on the very first day of classes we took a history of Social Work policy and the professor said to us who can tell me when the first set of laws of social welfare laws was ever enacted and the correct answer that he was looking for actually not the correct answer but the answer that he was looking for was in 1604 the laws known as the Elizabethan pour laws made by Queen Elizabeth and pour laws made by Queen Elizabeth and I'm thinking really because she didn't make a whole series of laws to help the poor in the country of Britain at the time however the Torah has liberal laws written in there for the social welfare of those who are unfortunate then there was written thirty-three hundred years ago so a lot of we've been way ahead of the bell curve and a lot of these issues and today we talk about a world it's very environmentally conscious and very aware of use that overuse and we're going to see today and datura deals this way way in advance but
